What kind of cargo can travel on an open platform?

How do I track the transport and which documents do I receive?

How is the cargo secured on the platform?
We use certified securing systems — straps, chains and blocking equipment — in line with international safety standards. On request, we protect the load with tarpaulins against the weather for the entire journey.
What types of flatbed trailers are in your fleet and what are their capacities?
We operate standard 3-axle flatbeds (up to ~24 tonnes payload), extendable trailers for long components and semi-lowbeds for tall machinery. For loads exceeding standard limits we switch to dedicated oversized-transport equipment.
Who handles lashing and securing the cargo on the flatbed?
Our drivers are trained in load securing to EN 12195 standards, using certified straps, chains and chocks. We check the lashing before departure and at every major stop along the route.
What happens if my cargo exceeds standard dimensions?
If the load exceeds 13.6 m in length, 2.48 m in width or the legal weight limit, the shipment qualifies as oversized: we obtain the special permits, carry out the route survey and arrange escort vehicles where required. See also our dedicated oversized cargo service.
