We coordinate the transport of reactors, autoclaves and industrial tanks for chemical and petrochemical producers, in line with the sector's strict safety standards
How we operate in the chemical industry
Reactors, autoclaves and industrial tanks are expensive and often one-of-a-kind pieces of equipment: damage during transport can mean months of delay for a production line.
Through our network of specialist partners we coordinate the transport of this equipment with handling procedures matched to the safety rules of the chemical industry, including where there are overlaps with the ADR regulations.

How we work
Three things we settle before loading.
We follow the strict safety procedures specific to chemical industry equipment, adapted to each type of unit.
For equipment that crosses into the dangerous goods rules, we arrange the documentation and the certified drivers in advance.
Through our verified partners we configure the right equipment for heavy reactors and tanks.
Process equipment that needs careful handling and compliance documentation.
The specific challenge
An aspect frequently overlooked in the transport of chemical industry equipment is the moment a used unit falls under the ADR rules for dangerous goods. Even though what travels is equipment rather than a substance, a reactor, an autoclave or a tank that has already been in service can retain chemical residues on its inner walls, in its connections or in areas that are hard to reach. In such cases the equipment is no longer considered neutral for transport purposes, and the ADR framework applies.
That is why we check in advance, together with the client, whether the equipment has been cleaned and decontaminated or whether it still holds dangerous residues. A new unit that has never been in contact with dangerous substances travels under the standard regime. A used one, with confirmed residues, requires full ADR documentation and a certified driver, whom we arrange through our partner network. Clarifying this before departure avoids compliance surprises on the road and hold-ups at border or roadside checks.
Other Project Cargo industries
The same process equipment, a different kind of plant.

Frequently asked questions
Process equipment needs careful handling, and a used unit can fall under ADR. Here is what you need to know.
We handle the whole process, through our network of verified partners. We run the route survey, obtain the abnormal load permits in every country crossed and arrange, where necessary, the escort vehicles and the approvals from the authorities. The client receives a clear transport plan, without dealing with the paperwork.
When the equipment has already been in service and may retain residues of dangerous substances on its inner walls or in its connections, it falls under the ADR rules, even though what travels is a machine rather than chemical cargo. We check the condition of the equipment in advance, together with the client, and where relevant we prepare the full documentation and arrange ADR-certified drivers through our partners. A new, uncontaminated unit travels under the standard regime.
Yes. If the equipment has held dangerous substances, cleaning and decontamination are the shipper's responsibility and must be done before loading. A properly decontaminated unit, with the documents to prove it, can travel under the standard regime and avoids hold-ups at roadside or border checks. We clarify this at the quotation stage, so you know exactly what each option involves.
The configuration depends on weight, dimensions and shape. Through the partners in our network we access modular trailers, lowbed platforms and extendable trailers, suited to bulky, heavy process equipment. We choose the solution from the route survey, so that the axle loads and the overall height stay within the legal limits along the way.
The cost is calculated according to tonnage, dimensions, route, the permits required and any ADR requirements, so every project has an individual price. Send us the type of equipment, the dimensions and the loading and delivery points, and we will prepare a project quote, with a dedicated manager accompanying you throughout.
A reactor or an autoclave is often a one-of-a-kind piece of equipment, and damage can hold up a production line for months. That is why we use securing and lifting procedures matched to the shape of the equipment, protection against shocks and, through our verified partners, crews experienced in handling process machinery. On top of that, CMR insurance is included, correlated with the real value of the equipment.
Our team will get back to you in under 2 hours with a personalized quote — no bureaucracy.
