How we operate in manufacturing

The transport partner for industrial relocations and manufacturers

Relocating a production line means more than transport: it involves dismantling, transport and reassembly, with production downtime reduced to the minimum possible.

Through our network of verified partners we coordinate the entire industrial relocation process, from dismantling the presses and machine tools, through to transporting the components and reassembling them at the new site.

How we work

Why choose us for manufacturing

Three things that make the difference on a line relocation.

  1. 01

Coordination of dismantling, transport and reassembly

We manage the entire relocation cycle, not just the road transport segment.

  2. 02

    Minimising production downtime

We plan every stage to reduce to a minimum the period in which the production line is out of service.

  3. 03

Transport of heavy presses and machine tools

Together with our partner carriers we configure the right equipment for heavy industrial pieces.

What we carry

What we carry for the manufacturing industry

From a single industrial press through to a complete production line.

Industrial presses
Transport of hydraulic presses and heavy manufacturing equipment, on the right transport equipment.
Machine tools
Transport of precision equipment, with careful packing and handling at every stage.
Complete production lines
Coordination of the full relocation, with dismantling, transport and reassembly at the new site.
Industrial robots
Transport of robotic arms and automated production cells, with specific securing.
Packaging lines
Transport of packaging and palletising equipment, coordinated along the route.

The specific challenge

Relocating a production line, stage by stage

A successful industrial relocation starts with a technical inventory of every component: what is dismantled, in what order and what needs special packing. We coordinate this stage together with the client's technical team, before any equipment moves.

At destination the process runs in reverse: the components are delivered in the order needed for reassembly, so the production line can be brought back into service as quickly as possible.

Frequently asked questions

Manufacturing and industry: frequently asked questions

A line relocation is measured in lost production hours, not in kilometres. Here is what you need to know.

How much does it cost to move a production line and how do I get a quote?

The cost depends on tonnage, dimensions, the number of components, the distance between sites and on the dismantling and reassembly services included. As a freight forwarder, we compare the options in our network of verified partners and send you a personalised project quote. Tell us what equipment has to be moved and from where to where, and the dedicated project manager builds the full estimate.

How is the relocation of a factory or a complete production line coordinated?

The relocation starts with a technical inventory of every component, drawn up together with your team: what is dismantled, in what order and what needs special packing. We then coordinate, through our partners, the dismantling, the transport and the reassembly at the new site, with a dedicated project manager from the first contact. At destination the components arrive in the order needed for reassembly, for a quick return to service.

How do you transport heavy industrial presses and machine tools?

For hydraulic presses, stamping machines and heavy machine tools we configure, together with our partner carriers, the right equipment: lowbed trailers, extendable or abnormal load platforms, depending on weight and dimensions. We run the route survey and handle the permits for abnormal or heavy load transports. The securing and the handling are planned for each piece individually.

Do you handle dismantling and reassembly, or only transport?

We coordinate the entire cycle, not just the road transport segment. Through our partner network we manage the dismantling of presses and machine tools, disconnecting the installations, labelling the components for reassembly, the transport and the reassembly at the new site. That way you have a single counterpart for the whole project, from the first bolt removed to the equipment back in service.

How do you protect precision and sensitive equipment during transport?

Precision equipment and sensitive components are packed and secured specifically, adapted to the type of each machine, to avoid shocks and vibration on the route. We document the condition of the components before dismantling, and where needed we use careful handling solutions at every stage. All equipment is covered by CMR insurance included.

How do you keep production downtime to a minimum during the relocation?

We plan every stage in advance and deliver the components in the order needed for reassembly, so the period in which the production line is out of service is as short as possible. Where possible, the move runs in segments or in time windows agreed with you, for minimal impact on your operations. The project manager synchronises the transport with the schedule of the technical team at destination.
